Non-Hazardous Materials

The following solid waste materials are of low toxicity and are considered non-hazardous. They may be placed directly into the building dumpsters.

These materials must not be placed in office, classroom or lab trash containers. The custodial personnel will not remove any chemical wastes, including empty containers.

If you have solutions of these materials, separate the solid portion for dumpster disposal and pour the liquid portion into the sanitary sewer with copious amounts of water.
